Adjunct Associate Professor Tey Hong Liang

Adjunct Associate Professor Tey Hong Liang is Head of Research and a senior consultant at the National Skin Centre (NSC), an Adjunct Associate Professor at the Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine, National University of Singapore. He is a National Medical Research Council Clinician Scientist Award and National Healthcare Group Outstanding Citizenship Award recipient. His clinical and research interest is in Neurodermatology (Itch and Sweat disorders), with platform capabilities in 3D imaging, formulations and dissolving microneedles. His works include 163 international publications and 9 active patent filings, including novel treatments for a hitherto idiopathic untreatable disease. He has developed 12 products to date, the most clinically-impactful being the Suu BalmTM range of products and drug-embedded dissolving microneedles. He is also the founding consultant of the Itch Clinic in NSC, and the Associate Editor of Itch, the official journal of the International Forum for the Study of Itch.
