Dr Long Chey May

A leader in the social and health sector, Ms Long Chey May is currently Group Chief Patient Officer at the National University Health System, Deputy Director of Allied Health at JurongHealth Campus, and President of the Singapore Association of Social Workers.
With 34 years’ experience in this sector, Ms Long has been accredited as an Advance Care Planning facilitator and an Applied Suicide Intervention Skills Training Master Trainer. Sitting on numerous committees and panels, she is Vice-Chairperson of the Social Work Accreditation and Advisory Board, Co-Chair of the National Social Work Competency Steering Committee, Senior Principal Project Administrator at the Ministry of Health and Co-Chair of the MSW Panel that reviews professional development and training for medical social workers. For her contributions to society as a social work leader, Ms Long most recently received the National Day Long Service Award in 2017.
In her current capacity as Group Chief Patient Officer at the National University Health System, Ms Long is focused on championing a culture of patient and family-centred care through assessing initiatives and creating change at all levels of the organisation.
