WELCOME

MESSAGE

Dear Colleagues and Friends,

Welcome to the Singapore Primary Care Conference 2026, where we gather under the transformative theme “Sustainable & Resilient Primary Care: Identity • Innovate • Integrate • Impact.” On behalf of the organising committee, we are delighted to invite you to join us at the main conference on 15 and 16 May 2026, as well as pre-conference workshops on 14 May 2026. The conference will be held at Academia, a premier academic venue at the heart of the nation’s leading medical and research hub.

The primary care landscape today urgently needs to transform towards sustainability and resilience. As the foundation of healthcare systems worldwide, primary care professionals face unprecedented challenges; rising chronic disease burdens, workforce sustainability pressures, planetary health imperatives, and the vital need for resilient care models that serve communities effectively. This conference addresses these pressing realities head-on, offering practical solutions and strategic insights through innovative care models, environmental health integration, and comprehensive education approaches that build lasting resilience in your practice.

Continuing the legacy of excellence following the success of our first two Singapore Primary Care Conferences in 2023 and 2024, this brand-new edition represents our commitment to establishing a vital platform for primary care excellence in Singapore and the region. We recognise that sustainable healthcare transformation requires consistent dialogue, shared learning, and collaborative innovation among primary care professionals. Hence, this conference is designed with primary care providers and healthcare teams in mind, together with our hospital and community partners, from Singapore, the Asia-Pacific region, and across the globe.

Our comprehensive programme centres on pillars that define modern primary care excellence. You will explore professional identity development that clarifies the evolving role and core values of family medicine practitioners. Innovation showcases will highlight cutting-edge technologies and care models driving sustainable healthcare delivery, whilst integration engagements will focus on seamless care coordination across all healthcare settings. Impact measurement sessions will demonstrate how to quantify and communicate the true value of primary care to stakeholders and communities.

Our programme comprising several unique segments will be delivered through captivating plenaries, inspiring symposiums, interactive workshops, and our signature research competition. It features distinctive elements designed specifically for primary care professionals.

  • Plenary Sessions: The programme features insightful plenary sessions that will address sustainability in primary care, planetary health and enhancing resilience through new care models and education.

  • Symposiums: These sessions will offer in-depth discussions on leveraging technology for sustainability, fostering the well-being of healthcare professionals, preparing the frontline, strengthening inter-professional collaborations and community engagements, and many more.

  • Specialised Workshops: The workshops are designed as practical hands-on sessions to equip attendees with actionable strategies. Topics include cultivating personal and professional resilience, integrating lifestyle medicine into faculty practice, and implementing sustainable initiatives like greening your practice.

  • Research Competition: Showcasing the latest advancements in primary care, our competition will award more than 20 winners across the core conference themes.

  • Networking: You will have invaluable opportunities to network with regional primary care leaders and innovators, fostering connections that extend beyond the conference.

We look forward to welcoming you to an inspiring and transformative gathering at the Singapore Primary Care Conference 2026. Together, we can build a more sustainable, resilient, and impactful primary care system that serves our communities with excellence.
