Dr Young is Head of the Singapore Infectious Diseases Clinical Research Network (SCRN), Senior Consultant at the National Centre for Infectious Diseases and Tan Tock Seng Hospital, and Assoc Prof at Lee Kong Chian School of Medicine. Dr Young’s current research involves study of the epidemiology, clinical characteristics, and vaccinology of COVID-19. He is the principal investigator (PI) of several observational COVID-19 studies, a clinical trial of homologous/heterologous COVID-19 vaccine boosters, and is country PI for the ACTIV-3/TICO studies of therapeutic monoclonal antibodies for COVID-19. He started the Long COVID clinic at NCID together with colleagues from NCID and TTSH in November 2021.
