Dr Wayne Lee

Family Physician

National University Polyclinics

Dr Wayne Lee is a family physician working at the National University Polyclinics (NUP). He graduated from the University of Edinburgh in 2012 and completed his MMed in family medicine in 2019 under the National University Health System (NUHS) residency program.

Aside from his practice in clinical medicine, Dr Lee also holds dual roles within NUP’s clinical informatics department and NUHS Group Chief Technology Office working with a team of data scientists in developing operational utilisation of artificial intelligence (AI) in clinical medicine. He is currently pursuing further graduate studies (MTech EBAC) in the field of data analytics and AI at NUS.

Dr Lee’s current focus is advancing the data analytics capabilities within NUP and developing NUHS’s CHAMP program, which aims to augment care with AI for chronic diseases and utilise easy-to-use chatbots for patients to use.
