Ms Jacqueline is an Advanced Practice Nurse, currently working at one of the SingHealth Polyclinics located in Geylang, Singapore. In her service, she has managed patients with chronic conditions such as diabetes, hypertension, hyperlipidaemia and asthma. Geriatric care has always been her personal interest – she is a member of ‘NHGP Geriatric Speciality Advisory Group’ and co-lead of ‘NHGP Nursing Gerontology Community of Practice’. Her areas of research include asthma in older adults, insulin adherence, caregiver burden in the management of frail older adults, and falls and fear of falling in elderly. She is currently the Principal Investigator for a Randomized Controlled Trial that focuses on interventions specific to fear of falling among older adults.
