Criteria for Abstract Submission
You are cordially invited to submit scientific abstracts for inclusion in the scientific programme of the Singapore Primary Care Conference 2023. Abstract submission deadline is 25 November 2022.

OBJECTIVES OF RESEARCH COMPETITION
Abstracts will be categorised under the following topics for review and program purposes. Presenters are requested to select the topic under which their abstracts belong:
Authors and co-authors information must be provided in full, including the first/last names of all authors, their department, institution/hospital, city, state (if applicable) and country. Abstracts must contain original scientific data collected by the author(s). All abstracts will be reviewed by the Scientific Committee.
ABSTRACT SUBMISSION GUIDELINES
- To encourage greater collaborations in Primary Care research and to recognize quality work in this field
- To support research by Family Physicians, Nurses, Allied Health, Admin, Family Medicine residents, Medical students, and Inter-professional teams in Primary Care
Abstracts will be categorised under the following topics for review and program purposes. Presenters are requested to select the topic under which their abstracts belong:
- Transformation in Primary care
- Primary Care Mental Health
- Education in Primary care
- Interprofessional Collaboration
- General Primary Care (Others)

Abstracts must contain original scientific data collected by the author(s). All abstracts will be reviewed by the Scientific Committee.
ABSTRACT SUBMISSION GUIDELINES
- Topic of Abstract should be relevant to Primary Care or Family Medicine.
- Abstract must be submitted in English.
- Abstract’s title should be concise and indicative of the content of the abstract.
- Details of authors should be given in accordance to descending order of contribution (from most to least).
- The presenting author must be indicated in the abstract submission form.
- Abstract should be submitted before the submission deadline: 25 November 2022.
- Fill in the appropriate sections (Aims, Methodology, Results and Conclusion) of the abstract and structure the text using the following headings:
- State Aim(s) of study
- State Method(s) and subject used, as relevant
- Summarise Result(s) obtained
- State Conclusion(s) reached. It is not satisfactory to state, “The result will be discussed.“
- Abstract should not exceed 250 words.
- The use of standard abbreviations is acceptable. Place special or unusual abbreviations in brackets after the full word the first time it appears. Use numerals to indicate numbers, except to begin sentences.
- The use of tables, graphs and other types of images in abstracts is not permitted.
- Abstract not adhering to the above will not be considered.
- Abstracts previously presented at another international scientific meeting ONCE, can also be submitted for this conference for consideration. Papers that have been published in peer-reviewed journals WILL NOT be accepted; however, abstracts that have been published can still be accepted.
- The authors of all accepted abstracts are required to prepare an electronic poster which will be made available on the conference website, as well as at the conference. The electronic poster is to be submitted to the conference secretariat by 03 February 2023.
- The top 6 abstract finalists will be invited for the onsite oral presentation competition, while the next 6 abstract finalists will be invited for the onsite hardcopy poster presentation competition.

The top 12 abstracts will qualify for the onsite oral or poster presentations and will receive an award of up to S$500. The selected participants will also receive certificates during the Awards Ceremony at the Conference dinner.
